Terms of Bambu Lab User Experience Improvement Program

In the 3D Printing community, we learn from each other’s successes and failures to refine our slicing parameters and settings. Bambu Studio follows the same principle, learning from the collective successes and challenges of our users to continuously improve performance.

To help us improve the quality and performance of our products and service, Bambu Studio sincerely invites you to join the User Experience Improvement Program. This document explains what data will be collected under the program and how it will be used. We kindly ask you to carefully read and fully understand this document before providing your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by changing the settings in “Preferences – User Experience.”

Collection and Use of Information

Once you agree to join the program, data related to your device and usage will be automatically collected and sent to us, including:

• Device and user identifiers: Device serial number (SN), user ID, application ID, and other identifiers generated to record and correlate related events, etc.;
• Device and software information: Operating system name and type, application name and version, etc.;
• Device connectivity and configuration data: IP Address, results and error information of internet connection with printers, internet connectivity status, printer system version, application settings and connectivity status, etc.;
• Product and service usage data: User interactions with the app and duration, app launch and settings, user interaction with printers and usage details, online services usage statistics, metadata of files saved, imported, or exported by the user, requested service URLs, etc.;
• Product and service performance data: Performance metrics and error information about features including printing, Webcam LiveView, app and printer operations, etc.

We will use the above information to evaluate and improve our products and services.

How to opt out

You may withdraw your consent at any time by changing the settings in "Preferences – User Experience."

Privacy Protection

Bambu Lab is committed to protecting your privacy. The information collected will not be shared or disclosed to any third parties except as required by applicable law. Data will be retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
